The Mercy Justice Conference, an initiative of the Institute of Sisters of Mercy of Australia,  will be held in Queanbeyan NSW (near Canberra) on 6th, 7th and 8th November 2009.  The Conference will highlight the complex issues of social justice, drawing on research, stories and experiences.  It aims to lead those passionate about social justice to further understanding and will offer participants opportunities for a merciful response through action. The conference has an outstanding line-up of speakers including this year’s Australian of the Year, Professor Mick Dodson and the 2007 Australian of the Year, Professor Tim Flannery.
