Dear friends,

This week, the bishops of the Oceania region (which includes countries such as Australia, New Zealand, PNG, Guam, Tuvalu, The Marshall Islands, The Cook Islands, Kiribati, Tokelau and more!) met in Sydney at Sancta Sophia College which is part of the University of Sydney.

Women were certainly not missed at this event with three fantastic presentations from Marita Winters (Director of the Catholic Enquiry Centre) on the 'Media and Evangelisation'; Sr Hilda Scott of the Jamberoo Benedictine Abbey - who spoke about the 'Call to holiness for bishops'; and Robin Moore, who is perhaps best known as the voice of 'Blinky Bill' and for radio serial 'How green is my cactus'.

Each of these women were a remarkable testament to women's unique capacity to entertain, enthrall, and communicate the gospel message in their lives and work.
